Hello friends...
welcome back to my blog.Today I am going to show you guys, how to scan a particular host for its open TCP and UDP ports.I searched whole internet regarding scanning open ports with Nmap of ISP.But there is no sufficient matter available in the internet which I want to try to search. So today we are going to perform Nmap (Zenmap gui windows) scan .
Since Nmap perform its best with Unix(command line) because there is less restriction than windows. This happens, for example, when Nping is run under Windows (as Microsoft has disabled raw socket support since Windows XP SP2), or when Nping is asked to send ARP packets. Since in some cases it is necessary to construct ethernet frames, Nping offers some options to manipulate the different fields.

Facts: Nmap is used in Cinema(Movies) for showing hacking shots. Eg. Matrix (Movie)

zenmap scan

 Follow the steps:

  • First download Zenmap gui (nmap for windows).
  •  Install and open zenmap on windows.
  • Fill target host(which you want to scan).
  • Select scan type (Intense scan , regular, ping scan, trace rout, udp scan etc.).
  • Hit scan.
  • Wait for a minute till scan is not completed.(see screenshot below)
Thats it.Scanning Done.
Note: First connect your PC to a network (wi-fi).If you are using modem then scanning can't be perform due to restriction on windows.(Error shows you can not scan your own machine i.e Localhost).
For scanning your own machine use --unprivileged command  .

zenmap scan
Nmap scanning

Warning: Nmap scanning is illegal on some country.Read your ISP terms and condition first.
Thanks.

    1. Select modem configuration manually... Not automatically
